If you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional company name, and the message you provide about what you are working on.

If you choose to join the newsletter, we collect the email address you submit. Newsletter signup is separate from the contact form and requires your explicit action.

Attribution information

When available, the website may preserve referral information and standard campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, campaign, term, and content. This information is used to understand how a contact or newsletter signup reached Night Howl.

How we use information

We use contact information to receive and respond to inquiries, operate the website, protect forms from abuse, and understand the source of submitted inquiries. We use newsletter signup information to process the subscription you requested.

Service providers

Night Howl uses service providers to operate specific website functions. Contact form delivery is implemented using Resend when production credentials are configured. Newsletter subscriptions are processed through Beehiiv when that integration is configured. The website is deployed using Vercel.

These providers process information only as necessary to provide the relevant service, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

Form security and abuse prevention

The contact form uses server-side validation, a hidden honeypot field, and rate limiting to reduce automated abuse. Request information may be used temporarily for rate-limiting purposes.

Newsletter choices

Submitting the contact form does not subscribe you to the newsletter. Newsletter signup is explicit and separate. If you previously unsubscribed, the website is not configured to automatically reactivate that subscription.

Data retention

The website application does not define a fixed retention period for submitted information. Retention may depend on the destination inbox and the service providers used for contact delivery, newsletter processing, and hosting. Those providers may maintain their own retention periods.

Your choices

You may choose not to submit the contact form or newsletter form. If you want to ask a privacy question or request assistance regarding information you submitted, use the website contact page.

Changes to this policy

Night Howl may update this Privacy Policy as the website, vendors, or data practices change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
